Coach Isaiah Sylvia, INF, OF, P, Hitting

Isaiah is a dedicated and experienced baseball coach with​​​​​​​ a passion for helping young players develop their skills. Isaiah learned under the tutelage of esteemed local coaches such as TJ Chiappone, Steve DiVitto, and Doug Houston. As a player, Isaiah showcased his talents as a starter for both Milford Legion and Bellingham High School, where he played three years on the varsity team before graduating in 2021. He is now playing for the CHBL Cubs. Drawing from his extensive playing experience and deep knowledge of the game, Isaiah has devoted multiple years to coaching players aged 9-15. He has served as an assistant baseball coach at Bellingham High School and BYBI (Bellingham Youth Baseball, Inc.), working with both the high school teams and the BYBI Majors division. Additionally, he contributed his expertise to several BYBI Hockomock summer all-star teams as an assistant coach. Specializing in pitching, fielding, and hitting, Isaiah’s commitment to helping young athletes reach their full potential makes him an excellent choice for players looking to improve their skills and take their game to the next level. Isaiah is currently available for private and semi-private lessons​​​​​​​
              Coach Eli Sylvia, INF, C, Hitting

Eli Sylvia, a 2023 homeschool graduate from Bellingham, MA, has been playing baseball since age 3. A three year varsity player for Bellingham High School, Eli was the starting shortstop for the ‘22 and ‘23 seasons. Eli has played, and continues to play, for the Milford Legion Post 59 team, and the CHBL Cubs. He has gained experience coaching over the past three years, assisting with multiple Bellingham Youth Baseball, Inc. (BYBI) teams, and BYBI winter trainings and summer camps. He has assisted the coaching staff of a 10u Hock Valley AAU team, and he has served as a trained umpire in the BYBI program, all in addition to coaching his four younger brothers. He is currently a Co-Fall Ball Director on the BYBI Board of Directors, head coach of the Franks Appliance Dodgers (BYBI Minors team), assistant coach for the BHS freshman baseball team, and head coach of the Bellingham 15-18 year old team. His expertise lies in infield work, catching, and hitting. He is available for private and semi-private lessons.
